Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago and Kansas City, Brooke started her journey as an artist in the worlds of music and theater; her favorite activities included singing along with her “Star Studio” boom box (a harbinger of modern karaoke), and choreographing dances in her neighbor’s basement to C&C Music Factory.

Brooke completed her MFA in Film Production at the USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2008. Her USC thesis film Borderless won “Best Student Produced Film” at the Naperville Independent Film Festival, where she accepted the trophy from film critic Roger Ebert.  The film was also an official selection at multiple film festivals throughout the world, including KCET’s (PBS/Los Angeles) “Fine Cut” Festival of Student Film and the New York International Latino Film Festival presented by HBO.

Her most recent music video, “Single Girls” for Dutch singer Laura Jansen premiered as the “Must C” video of the week on MTV Netherlands in September 2009. Her work has also been recognized by XlntAds.com, which awarded her seed financing to create a Bud Light viral advertisement.  In addition to her directing work, Brooke has production designed music videos for directors such as Josh Forbes and Margaret Malandruccolo.

Before launching her career as a director, Brooke worked as Production Executive for Northwood Productions, and oversaw paperwork delivery on the film CAKE, starring Heather Graham and David Sutcliffe. She also worked as an assistant for actress Heather Graham's production company, Beech Tree Films, and as an in-house script analyst for Lakeshore Entertainment. She earned a BA in American Studies with honors at Stanford University.
